Lessons in the water
Like all Shaw Method of swimming teachers, I teach in the water, giving demonstrations, hands on guidance and easy to hear instructions. No matter what your size, shape, age, fitness level, experience or background I can help you. Most of my classes are 45 minute one-to-one sessions, but I also teach a few group lessons.
By using the Shaw Method, I can teach you efficiency and ease whatever your starting point. I particularly enjoy working with adult beginners, or those who suffer from anxiety in the water.
I teach at the Laboratory Spa and Health Club in Muswell Hill.
Lessons on land
45 minute lessons can be taken at my studio in Muswell Hill. I will first of all talk to you about your aims for the classes and tailor some simple movement exercises for you. I will guide you by verbal explanation and non-invasive hands-on guidance. You will also learn how to rest constructively (yes really!).
